+TV: Remote, Mirror & Share - Data Deletion Instructions

You can request the deletion of your account and associated data for the +TV: Remote, Mirror & Share app. Please follow the instructions below.

1. Requesting Data Deletion via Email

To request the deletion of your data, please send an email to support@plus.tv with the subject line: "Data Deletion Request - +TV: Remote, Mirror & Share".

In your email, please include the following information to help us identify your account and process your request efficiently:

What Data Will Be Deleted from Our Servers?

Upon your verified data deletion request, the following data associated with your +TV: Remote, Mirror & Share account, which is stored on our servers (Firebase), will be permanently deleted:

Important Note on Locally Stored Data (TV Information)

Information about the TVs you have paired with the +TV: Remote, Mirror & Share app (such as TV names or identifiers you may have assigned within the app) is stored exclusively on your local device. This data is not uploaded to or stored on our servers as part of your account.

Therefore, requesting the deletion of your online account (as described above) will remove your account credentials and feedback from our servers, but it will not automatically delete the TV pairing information stored locally on your device.

What Data May Be Retained?

No personal data identifiable to you will be retained after your account deletion request is processed and confirmed.

2. Removing App Permissions from Third-Party Accounts

If you signed in using Google, Facebook, or X (formerly Twitter), you can also remove +TV: Remote, Mirror & Share's access permissions directly from your respective account settings. This will prevent the app from accessing your data from these platforms in the future.

Important Note: Removing app permissions from Google, Facebook, or Twitter does not automatically delete the data +TV: Remote, Mirror & Share has already collected and stored on its servers. For complete deletion of your data stored by +TV: Remote, Mirror & Share, you must use the email request method described in Section 1.
